Book Review: Adorkable by Sarra Manning

Dah lepas hari Jumaat, 21hb September 2012, baru aku rasa free giler sebab kelmarin kitorang ada 2 test.  Penat otak aku kot.  Baru hari ni aku sempat nak update blog kesayangan dan kegilaan aku ni.  Hehe...  

By the way, pasal gambar di atas, kalau korang yang ada pergi kedai buku macam kedai Popular tu mesti korang ada tengok ataupun terpandang buku Adorkable ni kat area English Fiction kan?  First time aku tengok buku ni aku dah jatuh hati dah.  Orang salu cakap "don't judge a book by its cover" bukan?  Tapi cover tu arr punca yang boleh membuatkan orang tertarik dengan buku tu.  Lagi satu, aku tengok tajuk buku ni yang nampak-macam-bez je.  Then aku baca arr sinopsis ataupun preview yang ada kat belakang buku tu.    

Korang bleh baca sendiri lah ye sinopsis buku ni kat bawah:

Lepas aku baca apa yang ada kat cover belakang buku ni, aku confirm memang nak beli buku ni.  Malangnya dah hujung sem ni, duit aku pun makin kureng.  Terpaksalah aku pinjam duit kakak aku dulu.  Kalau tak, bukan buku ni je aku nak beli.  Banyak sangat buku yang menarik perhatian aku.  Kelak aku nak serbu balik Popular.  Harga buku ni RM 34.95..  Memang berbaloi.  Hehe...  Lagi satu apa yang aku suka pada buku ni ialah pasal The Adorkable Manifesto yang terdapat di dalam buku ni.

The Adorkable Manifesto:

• We have nothing to declare but our dorkiness.
• Jumble sales are our shopping malls.
• Better to make cookies than be a cookie-cutter.
• Suffering doesn't necessarily improve you but it does give you something to blog about.
• Experiment with Photoshop, hair dye, nail polish and cupcake flavours but never drugs.
• Don't follow leaders, be one.
• Necessity is the mother of customisation.
• Puppies make everything better.
• Quiet girls rarely make history.
• Never shield your oddness, but wear your oddness like a shield.

Apa-apa isi cerita dalam buku ni, korang bleh baca sendiri lah ye.  Hee...  Aku pasti korang akan suka buku ni.
